To promote interest and proficiency in genealogical research
To collect, organize, and preserve, in appropriate repositories, records and publication of interest to genealogists, especially those concerning Montgomery County, Maryland
To support the Jane C. Sween Library as a resource for the use of society members and the public
To compile, edit, publish, disseminate, and exchange material of genealogical interest

Meeting Info
We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM September through November and January through May. During the COVID pandemic, we continue to meet via Zoom.
We welcome input from founders and members about what might help further their genealogy research projects. Our options are endless and limited only by our volunteer efforts and available funds!
